Fun Fact: Opossums and possums are two different types of marsupials found on different continents. Opossums (Didelphis virginiana) are native to North America, and have pointed white faces, gray fur, and naked, rat-like tails. Possums are native to Australia and Indonesia, and typically have thicker fur, rounded faces, and bushy tails.
