Coyote Shoulder Mount Taxidermy Class

All classes are held at Grace and Grit Flowers in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY 11222

 

 •We invite you to join us for a class in coyote taxidermy. All materials, including a coyote skin that has been professionally tanned, a coyote shoulder mount mannequin, glass coyote eyes, ear liners, etc., will be provided for each student to create their own taxidermy shoulder mount. Each student will leave class with their own completed coyote mount, ready to hang on the wall. No experience required.

 

 •The class is approximately 4 hours long. Those who are 15 minutes or later to the class will not be able to join the class. There are no refunds for classes and no rescheduling for students who cancel, miss, or are too late to their class. There is a $50 rescheduling fee if you need to reschedule 48 hours or more before the class start time. See the Reschedule a Class option on our Class Sign-up page for more info. There are no exceptions to these policies. All classes are BYOB if you like. There is no photography, video, or audio recording allowed during class, but taking photos of your finished work and the studio is permitted when the class is over. Students age 13 and up are welcome to join, however those under age 18 will need to be dropped off by a parent or guardian when arriving at the class. Parents, family members, etc who are not paid students are unable to remain in the studio during the class. No harsh or dangerous chemicals are used. 

 

 •No animals are killed for the sake of taxidermy. Please note there is a $200 additional fee to do a howling or snarling coyote with open mouth (by availability, email ahead of time to inquire/make arrangements).
